Mar 4, 2010 · its a pretty straight forward gasket replacement. Drain the coolant. Remove the fuel Rails. remove the Supercharger ( leave the TB on) remove the Lower intake. wipe up any coolant in the block. flush some oil down the valley of the motor. and then reinstall.

If you mean water in your UIM , that could mean the plastic walls around the EGR have eroded or the coolant ports at the throttle body/UIM junction have collapsed. Seems straight forward enough, oe LIM gaskets are a well known weak point on the 3800. However, crawling back under, i noticed the power steering pump was covered in oil as well, behind the pulley.
